Pumpin' NP

When we saw the swell forecast for Sunday we immediately thought of the big waves spots near Margs. But a look early Sunday morning and Mainbreak and even Boaties were not really holding. It was big - out of control big. So it was time to travel north. The swell needed some grooming and NP provided just that. A little more protection and some nice clean sets started rolling in. Conditions were best early as the easterly started really coming on by about 8am. It started capping out to sea and the drop in wind forecast for around 9am didn't happen. So fortune favoured the early today. Tomorrow looks like it has some potential too. Enjoy yourselves out there, stay safe, and no surfing alone in these conditions. If you run into trouble you want someone in the water lookin' out for you. We saw some epic board breaks this morning and a few sets directly on the head. Keep safe all.
