Back to Business

While the #WSL has moved up to Rottnest Isalnd for the next stage of the tour, it was back to business in Margs with good sized swell and off-shore winds producing a classic Autumn day of surf in the region today. A welcome relief. The Point is not back to normal yet with tradies still packing away all the gear, but full access should be back by this weekend. Swell direction was interesting today with spots like Southsides picking up a lot of swell, and the Box had some rippas roll through especially earlier in the day when the swell was bigger. Those spots further south that often turn it on didn't really hold up today. We left mid arvo when the wind was still off-shore and the swell, although forecast to drop, was still showing good size with solid 6 foot sets rolling through at Mainbreak. The forecast looks pretty decent over the next few days so get into it if you can. We've got your next surf trip covered with either our hard copy or electronic version of the Surfing Margaret River Cape to Cape Guide available on this site now. Make sure you're in the know and not wasting your time driving up and down the coast searching spots that just aren't quite right... (we've all been there). Cheers all, look after each other and stay safe.
