Good to be home

We've been away for the last month, taking a well earned Xmas break further south. Today's conditions quickly reminded us why this stretch of coast is so amazing, 100km of coastline with over 50 breaks, most accessible without a 4wd. Just amazing. It felt good to be home. With the forecast suggesting an early wind change, many were down early including us. Shots before sun up were a little hazy and there was definitely some bump on the face. Conditions on the whole were average. But as the morning passed, conditions improved. The wind was pretty much non-existent, producing clean, almost glassy conditions with solid four foot swell. As the sun got warmer and the waves cleaned up, it turned into one of those days where it was just good to be out and about. Yes, there's a few people around. Yes, there's a shortage of parking. But what can you expect on a day that traditionally falls within one of the busiest periods of the year? Really... how lucky are we to be here, on the beach, in the water, surrounded by like-minded people on a beautiful day. Just enjoy it and spread the good vibes. Send us your fav pics by 3pm to our FB page and we'll post the best, on here, on FB and on insta. And you can now purchase our surfing guide again since we're back home and able to send it! Or drop into the mainstreet in Margs and purchase a copy from the Tourist Bureau, Margs Bookshop and other selected outlets (listed on this site).
