Conditions looked pretty good yesterday afternoon and with the forecast showing a light easterly, continued decent sized swell and a good period interval, things were looking up for Saturday. Although there was still a bit of morning sickness in the swell with it not quite lining up perfectly, things improved over the course of the morning into early afternoon, bringing some great conditions for those in the water. Crowds are still generally small, with most reef breaks and beachies pretty uncrowded given the quality of the waves on offer. Things are looking good until Tuesday so get amongst it if you can. Great conditions for the middle of winter. Our favourite photo from today appears on Facebook at 5pm and it was a difficult decision to make, given the quality of the waves on offer. Send your own pics in to us by 3pm same day and we'll do our best to get them up on FB and Insta with credit to you of course. We're all about promoting surfing in this region, whoever takes the pic.
