June keeps on keeping on with beautiful conditions again today. Along with some warmth in the sun the winds shifted from the northerly we've had for the last few days to a more easterly direction, giving us sensational options along a lot of the coast. No rush to be in the water either, so crowds didn't really pick up until mid to late morning. Beachies had plenty of good sand banks so there were plenty of uncrowded options for all. The swell held steady at a sold six foot with the occasional bomb set keeping things interesting. Huge swell is forecast to hit the coast late Tuesday into Wednesday, travelling all the way from South Africa, so we'll see what that might bring us later in the week. The start to this winter has been exceptional.
Make sure you're in the know with our 200 page surfing guide, yours from this site for $40 or from good retailers in Margies. And if you're in town, why not check out the newest surf shop to open its doors (and the only one with water views), Fresh Tracks Margaret River at Gnarabup Resort. A great shop with plenty of unique and funky surf gear, at really competitive prices. And just in case you're wondering - no we don't own the shop and no we didn't receive any payment for this little endorsement. They're just good people with a good shop. Check it out.
