Plenty on Offer

Clear skies, a strong off-shore and good sized swell saw protected spots firing this morning. High tide was about 9am, so protected beachies were the pick. The wind stayed off-shore but did get pretty strong, and turned a little more south into late morning. It was forecast to remain off-shore all day, so plenty of options were on offer. A great day to be in the water, with a hint of warmth still in the sun (although winter feels like it's approaching fast).

Our favourite photo appears on Facebook at 5pm. Make sure your always in the know with our 196 page full colour surfing guide, available from this site or from retailers also listed on this webpage.

Surf photographers feel free to send SMR your favourite surfing photos (via Facebook is easiest), and we'll do our best to get them up onto our Facebook page. We prefer those that are sent to us by 3pm the day they are taken. Make sure to include any info and links you want to appear on the post.
