Happy Locals

As the dismantling job continues, Surfer's Point provided quite a few distractions for workers. Yet another morning of pumping surf capped off by a so called 'champagne hour' lasting just a bit longer than sixty minutes. Swell is still a good size and the winds are blowing easterly - resulting in plenty of locals making the most of The Point being open once again. One long time local was heard to yell 'the cranes are here!, the cranes are here!', as he clapped his hands in anticipation of the car park soon to be open once again. Parking is still a bit of a nightmare with the pro pack-up keeping the main car park closed for now, but they should be done in the next few days. Top conditions are forecast for most mornings this week. Get into it if you can.

Our fav pic from today features on Facebook at 5pm. We're always keen to promote any surf photographers with photos taken from between the Capes, so get yours to us by 3pm same day, and you'll stand a good chance being featured on here and/or Facebook.
