It was going to prove near impossible to produce conditions of a similar calibre on Sunday as were seen Saturday, and that's what happened. We saw a forecast drop in swell with strong off-shore nor-easterly winds. The WSL called the women's comp on, while the men's remained on hold. After such a hard core Saturday we left Surfer's Point in search of something a little quieter. The north in the wind was certainly felt, but didn't really pick up until quite late in the day. The more sheltered spots that can handle the northerly winds were the pick. They held the best shape to the waves and gave less bump down the face. Plenty of fun options around if you knew where to look.
Our favourite pic from today appears on Facebook at 5pm. What a weekend it's been.
