The WSL has all the action well and truly covered at Surfer's Point, so we thought we'd take a look elsewhere today. Conditions looked brilliant, with clear skies and plenty of swell still around from yesterday's spike. Clean six to eight foot sets were on the camera, with a few solid ten foot sets also making an appearance. There was a mid to strong off-shore around in the early morning, which died away by mid morning, but unfortunately the wind turned southerly by lunchtime. At first only light, it got strong enough to cause quite a bit of bump in the face. Fortunately we saw a few breaks this morning before that wind caused its havoc. Great waves were out there today for the big wave surfing crew, as the majority of spots liking smaller swell were out of control and not really working. The swell noticeably dropped into the afternoon, so perhaps those options might be on form tomorrow.
It was a really tough choice calling our fav pic today, but it's on FB at 5pm. There's also something on insta @surfingmr and of course you can find our book online or for sale at good retailers throughout WA (a list of retailers can be found on this website).
