Dawn Patrol

After strong off shores for quite a few days and smallish swell, and even a few days of almost winter like conditions, the forecast of light off shores and four to six foot swell was a welcome change. The off shore winds started light for the early birds, but shifted to strong by 7am. They lightened up later in the day, producing clean waves in mostly sunny conditions. Most spots had something on offer. School returns Feb 1 so crowds should reduce, although all-in-all it's been pretty uncrowded in the surf this school holiday break. These shots are all before sunrise, with some good optionsd about for those up early. Pic of the day is featured on our facebook page. See yourself and score a copy for free.
