Despite a lull in the surf for the last few weeks, the last day of the year produced the goods, with lots of breaks between the Capes firing this morning. Small but clean was the order of the day early, before the southerly came on strong. What year of surf we have had - the Margies Pro turned it on big time for locals and international visitors, a cracking autumn with great waves for 3 months straight, large swells hitting the south west coast gaining international coverage, numerous shark sightings and one even breaching like a whale, and speaking of whales, what a show they put on for surfers and spectators alike as they migrated in November. Bring on 2016 - may it be a cracking year of surf for all. Stay safe and enjoy the ride everyone.
