Surfing - social distancing in practice
A whole lot can happen in just 2 weeks. We've gone from pretty much doing what we want when we want, to not. News of the Margies Pro postponement started the run on corona virus changes to our lives. What was happening elsewhere is now happening to us. Surfing is one of the few pass times that offers time outside, physical activity, and isolation - IF you choose it to be that way. And Autumn Has Arrived...
It's been a long, flat summer on the whole and the start of March, which usually sees a jump in the swell and some great conditions on offer, was slow. It's been super flat, as in as flat as I've ever seen it (and I've been living here since 1994). Great for diving and fishing so that's been a bonus.
