
Pumping.
We were treated to pumping waves up and down the entire coast today until the sea-breeze blew in at lunchtime. Offshore winds with four to six foot swell and sunny skies, finally falling on the weekend, saw most spots pull a crowd. A great day to be out in the water. Surf Check
It's a pretty good feeling when you drive down that hill and see clean lines rolling in, right in front of you. That's what we got this morning, with breaks up and down the coast all looking pretty good. The swell was a solid six to eight foot, so the bigger spots were firing. The wind was easterly and a bit strong at first, but it soon dropped giving some nice clean waves, particularly on the bigger sets. Def worth a paddle this morning if you were able to find the time. A Good Day to Get in the Water.
Finally some warm weather, offshore winds and decent swell all lined up for Saturday morning. The wind had other ideas, a lot of south saw a little bump on the waves. It did die down a bit but the swell was still a bit lumpy. But with the first real heat hitting the south west only this week, people took to the beach in droves. Overall it was definitely worth a paddle but perhaps not quite as good as we were hoping for.
