We've had some nice conditions over the last few days with today no exception. Sunny skies and a light offshore with three foot swell saw most of the coast looking pretty nice. Swell magnets had more size with a longer swell period producing the odd pretty decent set. Whales and dolphins both put on a show at the point, and along with the perfect conditions, made for a great morning to be in the water. Our pic of the day appears on FB at 5pm, along with a few on insta @surfin
Expectations were high over the weekend, but they weren't really met as the southerlies blew long and hard along the capes. Monday cleaned up nicely, with sunny skies, four foot swell and finally an east sou-easter. The southerly picked up during the course of the morning but there some good options around for those lucky enough to not be facing the first day of the working week. The next few days also look the goods.
The last few days have seen some light off-shores but still for the most part cloud and cold conditions. Finally on Sunday we saw some sun but still a bit of bump in the swell. Monday was similar, finally with some warmth in the sun and a light cross shore with a lot of south in it. But there were a few odd spots absolutely ripping if you knew where to look.
