Autumn conditions are in full swing at the moment, and we're all pretty happy. Fingers crossed today was the start of a pumping month of Autumn madness, before winter starts to show itself. Good sized swell in the 10 foot range, with a light easterly and semi clear skies saw outer reefs firing and closer protected spots also looking the goods. While it was too big for exposed west facing beaches, most other spots were holding something tasty. A few clean up bomb sets in the 12 foot range kept everyone on their toes, as did a large shape in the water exceeding 4 metres in length, at Sucky Lefts early morning. As one surfer said, ''They're always out there, the only difference is whether you know it or not." Take care out there everyone.
Some great waves were on offer today in pristine conditions, with more of the same expected this week. See yourself and score your pic for FREE. Follow our pic of the day on Facebook at /surfingmargaretriver. It's a good one today for sure.
